A home health aide, CNA, or nurse that is employed by Compassionate Companions LLC or referred by a home care registry to provide in home care services to a consumer.

What is in home care?

In home care is a great cost-effective alternative to a nursing home, extended stay at rehabilitation center, or other institutional care.

How will your company decide what my loved one will need?

A care plan is arranged for each individual’s needs as defined by his or her doctors plan of care. Each caregiver will be required to follow the direct orders of the consumers doctor as well as the request of the consumer and or family member(s).

Who does Compassionate Companions employ?

Our employees consist of registered nurses, CNA’s, and home health aides. We are always hiring caregivers in the anticipation for for potential clients!

Who qualifies to have an in home care caregiver?

Anyone who needs assistance with daily living essentials to enhance their independence usually coming out of the hospital, rehabilitation center, nursing home, or just may need assistance or a sitter to live a comfortable life with a peace of mind where they call home!

How can I pay for services? Does my insurance cover the cost?

Most insurance companies will pay majority if not all of the financial responsibility of an in home caregiver; as long as the care is directed by your doctor. Each insurance company varies, so you may have to call and verify your coverage. You also have the option to pay directly to the agency via check, money order, Zelle, Apple Pay, or direct deposit through the bank.

Is there a certain time I can receive service?

There are no specific times. We offer care 24 hours a day seven days a week. Each care plan and time is modified as needed for each consumer. 

Is there a 24 hour help line incase of an emergency?

In case of a health emergency you will always CALL 911 FIRST! You may absolutely call the main line at (412) 980-7329 or the on call attendant at (412) 861-3414 24hrs a day 7 days a week for all other urgent needs. For less urgent matters you may email any of your questions or concerns to compassionatehhc@yahoo.com or requests in the website under the service tab.
